JUNIOR SURFING ACADEMY/KIDS COURSES

Saltburn Surf School will be offering Summer surfing courses for junior surfers aged 8-16 years. These courses were really popular and successful last year so we are encouraging booking well in advance.  There are limited spaces.

First Option - £130.00

The courses will be run on the following dates:

12th Apr - 15th Apr 2010

31st May - 3rd June 2010

2nd Aug - 5th Aug 2010

16th Aug - 19th Aug 2010

The courses have been designed to provide an excellent introduction to the joys of the sea.  Saltburn Surf School are offering a structured surf and beach activity programme, which, will be appropriately adapted to the group age and surf conditions available during the course.  Our experience instructors keep the children on their toes, learning and having fun! 

The courses run Monday to Thursday, 10 am til 2 pm.  We assume that the participants have no previous knowlege of surfing, so educate them in beach safety and the full spectrum of beginners surfing. A full programme will be sent at time of booking.

The cost is £130.00, but remember this includes all equipment and dedicated coaching from one of our fully trained instructors for the whole period.  There may be an alternative option which would include booking individual days at a cost of £35.00.  Please note that at the time of booking a 25% deposit is payable which will not be refundable.

Second Option - £80.00

9th Aug - 12th Aug 2010

FEMALE SURFING ACADEMY - £100

This weekend has been designed by our own female surf instructor for women of any age that want to discover the addictive sport of surfing or for those that can already ride the waves, to advance and improve their surfing in the company of like minded women.  Places will be limited so please book in advance.

Course Dates:

24th April - 25th April 2010

26th June - 27th June 2010

25th Sept - 26th Sept 2010

The Weekend will consist of

• Four 'in-water' coaching sessions
• Fitness Tips

Requirements

• All participants must be over 16 years old.
• All participants must be able to swim 50m in a swimming pool.
• A health questionaire must be completed.

The cost for the two day course is £100.00, this includes all equipment and dedicated coaching from one of our fully qualified instructors for the whole period.  There maybe an alternative option which would include booking one day of the course at a cost of £55.00. Please note that at the time of booking a 25% deposit is payable which will not be refundable.

PLEASE NOTE. It is assumed that all participants of the intermediate course will have their own equipment (surfboard/wetsuit) however these can be provided.
